Olga KHOKHRYAKOVA

Vice-President
of the Constitutional Court

Olga Khokhryakova was born on 11 January 1949 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg).
Graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute in 1970.
Upon graduation she served in the prosecutor’s office, taught and conducted legal research. Headed Labour and Social Security Law Office at the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law at the Russian Government.
Doctor of Science in Law. Authored scientific publications in the fields of constitutional law, labour and social security law.
Lawyer Emeritus of the Russian Federation.
A Judge of the Constitutional Court since October 1994. 
In 2008 she was elected the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court. In April 2011 she was appointed by the Council of the Federation for another six-year term. On 22 March 2017 judge Khokhryakova was reappointed the Vice-President of the Constitutional Court for the third time.
